Welcome to Fizzville: THIS IS FIZZ LIVE IN BRISTOL

On February 27th, FIZZ performed at SWX in Bristol as part of their Secret To Life Tour to a welcoming crowd. The band described as the indie supergroup consisting of Dodie, Martin Luke Brown, Greta Isaac and Orla Gartland has been touring the UK throughout February with a full band to celebrate their debut album. Creating a stage and a safe space they described as Fizzville.

The night was filled with songs from the band’s debut album, ‘The Secret to Life’, as well as some fan favourites solo songs from individual members such as Dodie’s ‘Lonely Bones’ and Martin Luke Brown’s ‘It gets better’.

The band brought incredible intensity to the show with some hyped-up screaming of lyrics and beautiful harmonies. One of my favourite bits FIZZ bring to their show is their ever-changing positions as songs change, bringing variety to the movement on stage and enabling fans to have the chance to get closer to their favourite members.

The energy of the night was undeniable as everybody in the room jumped during songs such as ‘Hell of a ride’ and Dodie interrupting their song ‘Rocket League’ to set off a chant of ‘It’s football with cars!’ The crowd was undeniably hyped up after that moment, screaming along to every line of the song.

FIZZ closed out the night with an encore to ‘The Secret Of Life’ which had everyone in a bittersweet mood, it was the most energetic show but with this song, the night was coming to an end. The band thanked their crew and everyone who helped them get to the stage their on and everyone was dancing in pure joy to close this visit to Fizzville, definitely leaving their mark in Bristol.
