NEW RELEASE: If Caity Baser is ‘Still Learning’ we can’t wait to hear what comes next!

Caity Baser has just released her new album “Still Learning” and straight off the bat with ‘I’m a problem’ we were hooked! We couldn’t stop pressing repeat so we wanted to share our thoughts on this new hit album from the Southampton-born singer who is making waves through the music scene right now.

The album opens with the title track, “I’m a Problem” setting the tone for what’s to come. It’s a catchy track, reflecting on comments she has heard but telling listeners she doesn’t care because she’s that girl. Layered over a dance-beat backdrop that draws you in from the start the track opens with a series of hate comments the pop singer has received. This track is definitely a vessel for female empowerment.

“Showgirl” Slowed down the album with its experimental lovely Jazz-like vocals when listening it felt like we were transferred back in time and we was in a smoky bar dressed up in our glam. It’s another very empowering song to listen to with lyrics such as “even if he was your whole world, don’t let him know girl.”  A standout for us is track “Oh Well” which takes us back to the 00’s, making you feel like you are in a coming-of-age movie. Its catchy beat reminds us of Miley Cyrus vibes and we are here for it. It’s one of those tracks that have you thinking about it long after the song ends.

Long-time Baser fans will be glad to hear fan favourites have been included in the new album “Pretty Boys” a feature as the number 4 track. If you aren’t familiar with who Baser is, you probably have heard this hit on TikTok with its famous lines “Oh, not another one / Here we go again / How can someone look so pretty / But have nothing in their head?” and not to forget, drawing inspiration from Oscar-winning movie of the same name, “Everything Everywhere All At Once” is an emotional turmoil which really screams out how it feels to be a young girl these days and a perspective of having an unhealthy relationship.

Every song on this album is a no-skip and Baser shows just how vast her range is, if you like music there’s going to be a track on this mixtape for you.

Caity was recently the cover star of NME, who have declared her “pop’s wittiest new songwriter” and Rolling Stone UK hailed her “Gen Z’s new favourite pop star” so it’s no surprise that Baser is currently gearing up for her biggest tour yet, Scheduled to kick off at the O2 Academy in Leeds on Tuesday, March 26th – some dates are sold out already so if you want to hear these hits live you better move fast.
