Over the past year Ugly have been writing, rehearsing and recording, tirelessly refining and releasing a string of singles with an EP on the way as well as the initial framework of full length debut. A focus on infectious melodies, explosive dynamic changes and rich harmonies boast the band’s choral background, their new body of work is not to be missed.

The band have played alongside countless acts such as Black Midi, Sorry, Sports Team, Warmduscher as well as a recent tour support to Black Country, New Road and Courting to name a few. In the past year Ugly have hosted SOLD OUT headline shows at both Moth Club and The Lexington. They have also featured in various industry showcases such as Rough Trade Recommends & DIY’s yearly ‘Hello’ instalment. With a successful European tour under their belts (including a SOLD OUT show at Paris’ notorious L’international) and a sophomoric EU tour planned prior to lockdown, the band have been creating a vibrant songlist.
